Five Arrested After KSP Seizes More Than Two Pounds of Suspected Methamphetamine and Fentanyl in Pike County
According to the Kentucky State Police, five individuals were arrested following a drug investigation that resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl during a traffic stop in the Belfry community of Pike County.
Kentucky State Police Post 9 announced that on June 25, 2026, troopers and detectives with the KSP Street Level Drug Unit conducted a traffic stop involving two vehicles believed to be traveling together after investigators developed information indicating the occupants were transporting illegal drugs into Pike County.
One vehicle was occupied by Howard Burris, Carnell Archery, and Zavion McCallister, all of Akron, Ohio. The second vehicle was occupied by Isaac Chapman and Caitlin Griffith, both of Pikeville.
Both vehicles were towed to a secure location where detectives conducted a follow-up search. During the investigation, troopers located suspected illegal drugs concealed inside the driver and passenger side door frames of the vehicle operated by Chapman.
Investigators reported seizing approximately 2 pounds, 7 ounces of suspected methamphetamine and approximately 2.5 ounces of suspected fentanyl.

According to Kentucky State Police, all five individuals were lodged in the Pike County Detention Center following their arrests.
